The pressure, P, for an object in a liquid can be calculated using the formula
P = h⍴g 

where
h = height of the liquid above the object (unit: m)

⍴ = density of the liquid (unit: kgm-3)
g =
acceleration due to gravity (unit: ms-2)

Note: the unit for Pressure is Newton per meter squared (Nm-2) or Pascal (Pa).
