Pouch-bearing Mammals
有袋类 yǒu dài lèi
Marsupials are pouch-bearing mammals.
Like nearly all mammals,
these animals give birth to their young. However, the offspring of
the pouch-bearing mammals
are underdeveloped. They would then spend time in the pouch of their
mother until they are ready to leave and be independent.
