Patong 巴东海滩 is located on the island of Phuket 普吉岛. It faces the Andaman Sea 安达曼海. Patong 巴东海滩 has grown into a very popular beach resort town. Tourists from all over the world flock here for the sand 沙, sunshine 阳光 and beach activities. The night-life in Patong is pretty vibrant.

It takes about an hour on the road to get from Phuket Town (also commonly called Phuket Old Town) to Patong 巴东海滩. More tourists stay in Patong 巴东海滩 than in the Phuket town.
