Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

   
This famous story was written by Roald Dahl and was made into at least two movies:
   
*  Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971)
*  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
   
It is about a poor boy, named Charlie, who loves to eat chocolates. One day, together with four other children, he wins a golden ticket. With the golden ticket, Charlie gets to visit the mysterious
chocolate factory located in the town he lives in. The fun-filled adventure begins inside the factory.
   
In addition to the witty quotes that are found in the story, such as this one:

Mr. Wonka: "Don't forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he wanted."
Charlie: "What happened?"
Mr. Wonka: "He lived happily ever after."


"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" also teaches children to be, among others, honest and trustworthy. It also contains a message for parents to not spoil their children.

Ia mengisahkan seorang budak miskin bernama Charlie yang gemar makan coklat. Pada suatu hari, Charlie bersama 4 budak lain memenangi tiket emas (hadiah) untuk memasuki kilang coklat yang terletak di tempat tinggalnya. Pengembaraan kanak-kanak dalam kilang tersebut penuh dengan adegan lucu, cemas dan menyeronokkan.
   
Cerita ini menasihati kanak-kanak supaya jujur serta tulus. Ia juga mengandungi mesej kepada ibubapa supaya tidak terlalu memanjakan anak-anak mereka.
