The
development of this new area of
capitalism, known as social business, is
attributed to Nobel
Peace Prize laureate Prof.
Muhammad Yunus. To quote the honourable

(Yunus Centre), "social business is
a cause-driven business". The aim of the
business / company is, therefore, to
achieve one or more social goals, such as
the eradication of poverty and
unemployment. Investors of social
businesses have no intention to make
profits, but they could eventually get
back the amount they put in.

kemiskinan dan pengangguran. Pelabur-pelabur perniagaan sosial tidak
bertujuan mendapat keuntungan. Walau bagaimanapun, mereka boleh
