Alexander the Great

Alexander lll, or Alexander the Great, was a king of a country named Macedonia a long time ago. He lived from 356BCE to 323 CE. Macedonia is a country near Greece. Even though the two countries are close to one another, the Macedonians are quite different from the Greeks.

Alexander is known as history's youngest and greatest conquerer. He is also considered one of the greatest military strategists (geniuses) of all time. Alexander's empire stretched from southeastern Europe to India. The famous Egyptian city of Alexandria was named after him.

Iskandar Agung

Iskandar Agung (Alexander III) ialah seorang raja Macedonia pada zaman silam. Macedonia merupakan sebuah negara yang terletak berdekatan negara Yunani (Greece).

Iskandar yang hidup dari tahun 356 SM hingga ke 323 SM dikenali sebagai penakluk yang termuda dan teragung dalam Sejarah Dunia. Iskandar juga terkemuka dengan kepintarannya sebagai ahli strategi tentera. Empayar Iskandar begitu luas - jajahannya merentas dari Europa ke India. Ibukota empayar tersebut,yang telah diasaskannya di negara Mesir, diberi nama Iskandariah (Alexandria).
