Data Verification
Data verification checks whether the data to be processed (entered)
matches exactly the data from the original source. For example, data
verification is usually carried out after data migration.
In this process, the types of data are checked for
o accuracies
o inconsistencies.
Two methods of data verification are
o proofreading the data against the original
o double data entry.
