Temple of the Tooth, Kandy,
Sri Lanka 斯里兰卡 sī lǐ lán kǎ
This
place of worship
is also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the Sri
Dalada Maligawa temple. Buddhists (see also Buddhism)
from all over the world travel to
Kandy, Sri Lanka to offer prayers and pay homage to Buddha in this
temple. As the name suggests, this temple houses a tooth of the
Buddha.
