I have not met a child who is not interested in Natural History...
... a five year old turning over a stone and seeing a slug and says "What a treasure!"...
Kids understand the natural world and are fascinated by it...
So the question is "How did you lose it?"
How did anyone lose the interest in Nature?

But if you do lose it... you've lost a very very great treasure.

And that's what I really love about fossils and fossil hunting. It gives you an extraordinarily vivid insight into what the world was like millions of years before human beings even appeared on this planet.
