Hang Li Po's Well

Hang Li Po was a princess from China married to the reigning Sultan Mansor Shah in the 15th century for diplomatic ties between China and Melaka. Sultan Mansor Shah built the well for Princess Hang Li Po at the foot of Bukit Cina, a Chinese settlement given by the Sultan to the princess as a gift.

It is believed that the well will never dry out and that whoever drinks the well water will return to Melaka time and again.
