St. John's Fort
St. John's Fort was originally a Portuguese chapel dedicated to St. John the Baptist. It was later on rebuilt by the Dutch when they occupied Melaka. One interesting feature about this fort is its canons which face inland. This is due to attacks from enemies which come mainly from the land instead of the sea. Address: Kubu St. John, Jalan Ujong Pasir, 75050, Melaka |
