One very
common grammatical mistake made by those who write and/or speak in
the English language
is the error in "Subject-Verb Agreement".
The error arises when the verb
of a sentence does not agree with its subject. For example, a
singular subject should be paired with a singular verb. Su
Dongpowas a
famous poet and statesman.
[Here Su
Dongpo is the subject
(singular) and the word was is the singular verb
in the past tense.]Xuanzang and ZhuBajie
are two characters in the novel Journey
to the West.
