poetic justice
The
phrase "poetic justice" is used to describe the situation or fact
that something right which is said or done shall be rewarded and
something bad which is said or done is punished. The
word "poetic" is the adjective
for the word poem. Poems and other other literary works of fiction
are where such outcomes of ideal rewards and punishments would
normally be found.
