"To think outside the box"
This
English phrase
has the meaning of "thinking freely without constraints". The box
signifies the constraints or limitations. Examples of limitations
include, but are not limited to, rules, regulations, structured
thinking and traditional values and practices. Thinking outside
the box has been credited by many practitioners to help in
creative thinking which leads to the generation of winning ideas.
