
Yong Tau Foo

Type: Hakka Chinese
Primarily consisting of steamed or fried tofu (bean curd) that is
stuffed with fish paste and/or minced meat. The meat is usually pork but
can be mixed with fish, prawn and/or crab.
Variations: Vegetables such as chili pepper (capsicum),
aubergine (eggplant), okra (ladies' fingers) and bitter gourd are also
stuffed with fish paste and/or minced meat.
Halal Yong Tau Foo contains no pork (meat).
Yong Taufu
Jenis: Cina Hakka
Terdiri
daripada
taufu (distim atau digoreng) yang diisi dengan pes ikan dan/atau
daging kisar. Daging lazimnya daging khinzir tetapi boleh juga
dicampur dengan ikan, udang dan/atau ketam.
Ragaman (Variasi): Sayur seperti cabai,
terung ungu, kacang bendi dan peria lazim diisi dengan pes ikan
dan/atau daging dalam hidangan Yong Taufu.
