A type of food -
Cantonese in origin - that is available in many parts of the world
where Chinese immigrants settled. It is believed by many that the
city of Guangzhou in
Guangdong, China, gave birth to Dim Sum - more specifically, it was
in the Guangzhou
Restaurant that was built in 1935 that
this food began its humble
origins. In similar and bigger restaurants, Dim Sum comes in,
literally, dozens of varieties. Typical Dim Sum dishes include, but
certainly are not limited to, steamed dumplings, glutinous rice
steamed with meat, and sweet and savoury puff pastry. One would
usually "Yum
Cha" (i.e. drink tea) when eating Dim Sum.

Sum merupakan sejenis makanan Kantonis.
Di kebanyakan tempat ke mana orang Cina berhijrah, di situ
terdapat Dim Sum. Dim Sum dikatakan bermula di bandaraya Guangzhou di
negeri Guangdong, di negara Cina. Ramai yang mempercayai
bahawa Dim Sum "dilahirkan" di Restoran Guangzhou yang dibina
pada tahun 1935. Seperti di restoran-restoran Dim Sum besar
yang lain, makanan ini
